bio

Kendra Parks, a North Texas native, discovered her passion for volleyball at a young age, successfully transitioning from competing on the sand to excelling on the indoor court. She quickly established herself as a standout athlete and went on to play varsity volleyball throughout all four years of high school, earning a reputation for her athleticism, competitiveness, and work ethic.

Kendra continued her volleyball career at the collegiate level at Brookhaven College, where she made an immediate impact. As a freshman, she earned a spot on the NJCAA National Championship All‑Tournament Team, recognizing her performance on the sport’s biggest stage. She returned the following season and played a key role in leading Brookhaven to a National Championship title, further solidifying her experience competing and succeeding at an elite level.

Following her playing career, Kendra transitioned into coaching, bringing her championship mindset and firsthand collegiate experience into athlete development. She is deeply passionate about teaching the game, focusing on strong fundamentals, volleyball IQ, and confidence‑building. Kendra emphasizes creating a positive yet competitive environment where athletes are challenged to grow, take ownership of their development, and develop a genuine love for the game.

Coach Kendra is committed to helping young athletes reach their full potential – both on and off the court – by instilling discipline, resilience, and teamwork. Her background as both a high‑level player and coach allows her to connect with athletes at all stages of development.

Outside the gym, Kendra enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two daughters. As an active family, they love outdoor activities and sports, values that reflect the balance, energy, and passion she brings into her coaching.
