Lyla Thomasco began playing volleyball at the age of 10 and quickly developed a deep passion for the sport. She played two years at Gunter High School, where she was a member of two state championship teams, while also competing in club volleyball for five years. Her love for coaching is rooted in the lasting impact her own coaches had on her. She remains in contact with several of them today and strives to be the kind of coach her athletes can trust, admire, and continue learning from – mirroring the positive influence she experienced throughout her playing career.
