MJ Liles is currently a junior at Stephen F. Austin State University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Teaching with a focus in Special Education. She plans to complete her degree online while coaching and is on track to graduate in May 2027.

A lifelong volleyball player, MJ brings both collegiate and high school playing experience, along with multiple years of club coaching experience. Her background in the sport has helped shape a strong foundation in work ethic, leadership, and teamwork, which she carries into her coaching philosophy. MJ is passionate about developing the “complete athlete” and is known for creating a positive, supportive, and competitive environment where players can grow both on and off the court.

MJ began her club career with East Texas Juniors, competing from 2015–2020 as a middle blocker. She went on to play at Beckville High School, where she competed on varsity from 2020–2023. During her high school career, she was part of a 2021 2A State Championship team and served as a Team Captain in 2022, demonstrating strong leadership and commitment to her team.

At the collegiate level, MJ competed at Arlington Baptist University during the 2023–2024 season as a middle blocker and pin hitter, helping lead her team to a Final Four finish at the national level.

MJ has built a strong coaching foundation with East Texas Juniors, where she served as a Head Coach of 15U and 16U teams.

In addition to her club experience, MJ has been providing private and small group training since 2021, focusing on skill-specific development and individualized training. She emphasizes high-repetition training, positional development, and building athlete confidence.

MJ is excited to join Vision Volleyball Club and is committed to building a competitive, positive team culture while helping athletes reach their full potential.
