Nicole Gibson

Nicole Gibson (aka Coach Coo) is a former club and collegiate athlete and brings over 20 years of club coaching experience and a deep-rooted passion for youth development. Her coaching journey began unexpectedly, but from the moment she stepped into the gym with young athletes, she was hooked. For the past 15 years, she has been instrumental in building and growing youth volleyball programs throughout the North Texas area. Coach Coo made a lasting impact by head coaching the first-ever 10U club team in North Texas—an extraordinary team that went on to produce five Division I scholarship athletes. A few years later, she led the state’s first and only 9U club team, many of whom remain highly competitive and aspire to play at the collegiate level. Her dedication to teaching strong fundamental skills has defined her coaching philosophy. Coach Coo is passionate about not only developing athletic excellence but also nurturing confident, respectful, and self-advocating young women. Her mission is to inspire every player she coaches to strengthen their love for the game and grow into leaders—both on and off the court—who believe they can overcome any challenge that comes their way.
