Parent Involvement

Parents play an important role in youth sports - as current or former athletes, coaches, supporters, motivators, role models, and sometimes critics. Research shows that family influence can have an even greater impact on an athlete’s participation and success than coaches. Parents are often the first and most influential figures in shaping a child’s experience, values, and love for sport.

Please follow the instructions below when emailing a digital photo for potential social media use:

File Format: JPG or PNG preferred
Resolution: Minimum 2000 pixels on the longest side (higher resolution is encouraged for best quality)
Orientation: Landscape or portrait is acceptable; avoid heavily cropped images
File Naming: Include athlete/team name (e.g., 16EBlue_Smith.jpg)

Attach photo directly (do not embed the photo)
Include a brief caption (athlete name, team, event, or context)

File Size Guidelines:

Standard email attachment limits are typically 10–25 MB per email

League Apps Accounts

Parents and athletes are responsible for maintaining their LeagueApps accounts to ensure the best possible experience throughout the Vision Volleyball Club season. Keeping account information up to date - including contact details, notification preferences, and athlete profiles - helps families stay informed and organized.

All official club communication (practice schedules, game updates, events, billing notices, and announcements) is delivered through LeagueApps. To avoid missed information, families should regularly check their accounts and ensure emails and push notifications are enabled.

NEW FOR 2026–2027: Recruiting communications and Hudl account setup for Elite teams will be directed to the athlete’s email address listed in their LeagueApps profile. Please ensure your athlete’s email is accurately entered and up to date to guarantee timely communication in these critical areas.

For real‑time access on the go, we strongly encourage parents and athletes to download the LeagueApps Play app. The app allows you to:

Receive instant schedule updates and alerts
View team calendars, events, and locations
Communicate easily with coaches
Complete registrations and forms more efficiently

Properly managing your LeagueApps account helps ensure clear communication, smooth registrations, and a successful season for your athlete and family.
